Many voices. A joint stand against racism, exclusion, and the shift to the right.  <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who We Are<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>We are the <strong>New German Unity<\/strong> \u2013 activists, artists, political people.<br\/>We live here. We shape this country. We pay taxes, we raise children, we write books, we love, we grieve.<br\/>But we experience daily: Our Germanness is questioned.<br\/>By people who claim that &#8220;German&#8221; is only white, male, hetero, able-bodied.<br\/>We say: <strong>That is a lie.<\/strong><br\/>Germany is diverse.<br\/>Germany is Black, Jewish, Muslim, trans, poor, with an accent, with a wheelchair, with hope in its eyes.<br\/>And that is precisely where our strength lies.<strong> Strength.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Campaign<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start: <strong>October 2, 6 p.m.<\/strong> | End: <strong>October 3, 6 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mirrianne Mahn<\/strong>, author &amp; activist, reads for 24 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own texts, submitted voices, names of the drowned, stories that otherwise remain unheard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Words as resistance.
